Parshat Pinchas: Numbers 25:10 – 30:1

June 30, 2010 by Talia Hava Davis

Continued from Page 1

At the end of this parsha, Moshe reminds the Israelites to always be prompt and thoughtful when bringing G-d the offerings as required. Moshe is our father/grandfather, tying up his loose ends and ensuring that his children thrive without him. These last gestures are tender to me. They show Moses' ultimate selflessness and his love for the whiney, obnoxious people he led out of slavery. Stay tuned for the coming weeks as we watch this saga finally wrap up!
