Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
This shower game is specifically for people with some scientific or literary background, though it can be played by anyone. Each assignment is for ONE guest. They have fifteen minutes to complete the assignment, and then they share.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Write a rap song including these words
Bride
Wedding
Plans
Engaged
Rings
Honeymoon
Dress
Rose
Bouquet
- Choose a song which describes the bride and sing it for us.
- Write a nursery rhyme which describes the bride and groom.
(Use “Jack and Jill” as an example.)
- Create a mathematical formula which describes the bride and groom.
- Explain the chemical process which guarantees marital success and write a recipe which incorporates it.
-
How does the pairing of the bride and groom illustrate one of Newton’s laws of motion?
- Every object will remain at rest unless compelled to change. (inertia)
- Acceleration is related to the applied force and inversely related to the mass of object
- For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
- Defend this hypothesis with two proofs:
The bride and groom will celebrate their fiftieth anniversary happily on December 15, 2068.
- Which of the following Shakespearean plays best describes the courtship of David and Aly? Defend your answer.
Much Ado about Nothing
As You Like It
Macbeth
Romeo and Juliet (the version where neither one dies)
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
The Tempest
- Write a haiku (first line has five syllables, second line has seven syllables, third line has five syllables) about how beautiful the bride will be on her wedding day.
- What good characteristics of lizards are also present in the bride and groom’s relationship?
- Spell the bride’s name and use each letter to give advice. For example, if we were doing Amber, we could say: A is for ambience. Always create a happy and romantic ambience using scented candles. M is for money. Share money and review the budget weekly. B is for Bingo. Play Bingo or another game every week for non-pressure, fun time.
