Beautiful Survivors: Novena of Beauty, Day 7 2014-09-13T23:09:00-04:00 Lisa Mladinich

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

The hit TV show “Survivor” has nothing on these incredibly beautiful women. Two of them survived being aborted, and the third was conceived in rape and endured the poverty and neglect of being born to a mentally-ill mother before being adopted into a loving family.

Melissa Ohden, Gianna Jessen, and Mary Rathke, thank you for your witness to the power of God to take any difficulty, any tragedy, and make it into something beautiful and life-giving. You are all extraordinary women of faith, joy, and the kind of beauty that radiates from a heart full of love. You are missionaries, helping to change the world.

Since this novena of beauty is dedicated to the Blessed Mother,
here again is EWTN’s video of the Litany of Loreto
with stunning artwork and the sung Ave Maria at the end.

God bless you!
