Azealia Banks – Outrageous Racist or Magickal Vigilante ?

Last updated on: January 20, 2015 at 8:04 pm   By Lilith Dorsey

Pondering the Problem with Saint Martin Luther King Jr.

Last updated on: July 7, 2022 at 4:44 pm   By Lilith Dorsey

4500 Year Old Egyptian Queen Khentkaus III Rediscovered

Last updated on: July 7, 2022 at 4:40 pm   By Lilith Dorsey

Earlier this week the Minister of Antiquities announced the discovery of the tomb of 5th Century Queen Khentkaus III, wife of Neferefre. This is a fascinating topic, that will hopefully unfold more in the future. I am excited both as an anthropologist and as a priestess, for the legacy of the primal feminine pioneered by women like Queen Khentkaus III, Queen Hatshepsut, and Queen Nzinga are vital to us all. Read more

January 6 – Three Kings’ Day Feast

Last updated on: July 7, 2022 at 4:39 pm   By Lilith Dorsey

The sacred gifts were Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. In the Lucumi (Santeria) tradition the feast is a celebration of great fortune. Read more

Last updated on: January 5, 2015 at 10:51 am   By Lilith Dorsey

It is the time of year when practitioners of La Regla Lucumi, Ifa, and traditions referred to as Santeria receive their reading or letter of the year. Some, however, also value letters from particular houses, such as the Letter of the year from the renowned Yoruba Association of Cuba. Read more
