Last updated on: March 13, 2015 at 4:42 pm   By Tony Jones

This week’s Question That Haunts Christianity came from Davidson, a 15-year-old high school student: I’m not quite sure if this is how your readers present their questions to you, but if it is, I have one for you. I am a scholar at heart. I love to learn just about anything. I plan to study theology, English, and philosophy at Liberty University. The latter is, well, part of my question. I have always thought that philosophers have been God-gifted men who have... Read more

More Voices Added to Christianity21

Last updated on: March 13, 2015 at 4:42 pm   By Tony Jones

You may have seen the announcement last week that Joshua DuBois had been added as a 21-minute speaker at Christianity21. Josh has been President Obama’s informal faith advisor for years, and his new book with 365 devotions he wrote for POTUS drops today. Now, this week, we’re starting to roll out our selections to give 7-21 Talks at C21. A 7-21 Talk is a 7-minute talk with 21 slides, timed at 20 seconds each. Think of it as the JoPa... Read more

Various Thoughts — and a Request — from an Enneagram 8

Last updated on: March 13, 2015 at 4:42 pm   By Tony Jones

I failed to respond to last week’s Question That Haunts. It didn’t capture my attention. I don’t have anything interesting to say about baptismal regeneration. The English word regeneration, is used only twice, in the NT, that being Matt. 19:28, and Titus 3:5. The Greek word is “palingenesia”... Read more

Last updated on: March 13, 2015 at 4:42 pm   By Tony Jones

It’s snowing today in the northwoods. We’re packing out what remains of the food, wiping out the fridge, and shutting down the water. The turkeys eluded me all weekend, and the ducks have already flown the coop. The end of the season is always bittersweet, for obvious reasons. Read more
