I am the Hemorrhaging Woman

Last updated on: September 10, 2015 at 12:00 pm By Leticia Adams

When I woke up this morning I thought that maybe me trying to get to Pope Francis in Philadelphia is crazy. I have a lot of things going on here at home, like at $400 light bill that needs to get paid, literally. And groceries and dog food and on and on. I prayed and asked God if it is His will for me to get there, then He will make it happen and then the thought of the hemorrhaging... Read more

7 Quick Takes Friday: Life, Tears, Laughter, Being Courageous

Last updated on: September 4, 2015 at 11:51 am By Leticia Adams

1. It has been one hell of a week. I have had this pressing dull headache that gets worse at times throughout the day, like when I have to actually do something important, and it’s made me go through the week in a haze. Not just that, but there are so many things going on in our life that it would take seventy times seven quick takes to get them all written out. Plus, this isn’t a bitch and complain... Read more

Radical Trust in Jesus

Last updated on: September 3, 2015 at 11:46 am By Leticia Adams

There are some things that we as Catholics don’t really talk about, two of these things are spiritual warfare and God asking us to do crazy things in faith. I’ve learned a few things about each of them so I thought I would share some of what I’ve learned and you can share with me what you have learned too! Spiritual warfare: The devil is real. He hates us and that hate is real. He will never stop trying to... Read more

The Kingdom of God

Last updated on: September 2, 2015 at 9:10 am By Leticia Adams

I am very lucky to have one of the best evangelists in the world be my RCIA director. If you think that I’m kidding, you can go check out his videos and see for yourself (they are the links on the left beginning with God’s Love) , the man is the real deal. Noe is not just an employee of the Church, but he is a living testament to what a life lived for the love of Jesus looks like. Anytime that... Read more

On the Bad Days

Last updated on: August 31, 2015 at 12:13 pm By Leticia Adams

I am having a very bad day. I am having a bad week. I have had a few bad years. Today is one of those days when I doubt everything that I believe and hate what I do know. A lot of people hide these kind of bad days because there seems to be this idea that if you are Catholic and do all the right things, you won’t have these kinds of days. That every Sunday you will wake... Read more

7 QTs of Random Thoughts…. be scared.

Last updated on: August 28, 2015 at 11:49 am By Leticia Adams

1. I had such a good post in my head while taking a shower and then it all went right out the window when I got online and checked the “news” aka Facebook. I ended up in a conversation about Michael Voris and that always ends up badly because people who defend bat shit crazy, are usually bat shit crazy. Then I thought of a way to come up with a check list for people to see if they are... Read more

Obsessed with Comfort

Last updated on: August 26, 2015 at 2:49 pm By Leticia Adams

I woke up this morning to the story of a man who shot and killed two people on live TV and then uploaded the killing to YouTube. I think that the saddest part about hearing that story first thing thing this morning is that it didn’t shock me. I am no longer shocked at the things happening in this world or this country or my town or even my house. The moment that I saw satanists say they don’t believe... Read more
