Catholic Owned® Celebrates Boom in New Catholic Economy 2025-04-02T19:40:18-07:00 William Hemsworth

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

Delray Beach, FL, April 1, 2025— Catholic Owned®, a company and digital platform that exclusively promotes businesses owned and operated by faithful Catholics, is flourishing with more than 5,000 (and counting!) listed organizations seeking to connect with like-minded consumers.  To celebrate their remarkable growth in less than two years of launching the business, Catholic Owned® is unveiling a redesigned app and the second edition of their Eastertide Shopping and Liturgical Living Guide.  Both resources make it easier than ever before for users to engage with businesses owned by fellow Catholics while simultaneously observing Lenten commitments through Passiontide and into the Easter season.

New Catholic Owned App is Now Available

New Catholic Owned App

What Is Catholic Owned?

“The heart of Catholic Owned® is about bringing devout Catholics together and advancing the prosperity of Catholic communities, along with the parishes they’re centered around.  Our faith is central to every aspect of our lives.  Why shouldn’t it play a primary role in our purchasing decisions too?” said Brooke Joiner, co-founder of Catholic Owned®.

Joiner is not the only one with this mindset, as evidenced by the exponential growth of Catholic Owned® since the app was unveiled in its original form in April 2024.  What began with a small collection of 35 Catholic-owned businesses has now ballooned into a growing directory of over 5,000.

“My husband and I began Catholic Owned® because we know the struggle of doing business with companies that don’t align with our Catholic values,” added Joiner. “The enhancements to our app ensure a much easier process for users to browse local businesses managed by fellow parishioners, find nearby shops, or search the larger Catholic market, since we all have to go beyond our local area to get what we need at times.”

Catholic Owned Categories

Popular categories on the app include Babies & Kids, Health & Wellness, Professional Services, and Catholic Gifts and Home Goods.  Featured organizational listings are even profiled with a detailed Business Spotlight feature that allows users to learn more about the business owners, the role of faith in their businesses, and even their favorite saints or Bible verses.  Additional sought-after features of the app remain such as local Mass times, daily readings, and a prayer community.

Catholic Owned Shopping Guide

Coinciding with springtime and a joyful, busy time for families and parishes celebrating numerous sacramental milestones, graduations, weddings, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, Catholic Owned® is proud to offer their second annual Eastertide Shopping and Liturgical Living Guide as a spiritual aid and resource for gift giving.  A curated digital 60-page magazine featuring more than 25 merchants, each offering exclusive discounts and bonuses, the flipbook beautifully doubles as a Liturgical Living Guide with the second half containing numerous devotional articles and striking sacred art that invite readers deeper into the mysteries of Holy Week, Eastertide and beyond.

The Eastertide Shopping and Liturgical Living Guide is available now for those who download the Catholic Owned® app.
