Who is The Latin Right?

Welcome to The Latin Right.

My name is Dennis Knapp. I am a conservative Latin Rite Roman Catholic. This blog reflections my thoughts on any and all theological, historical, political, and cultural issues that draw my attention.

My passions: faith, family, history, theology, and anything written by JRR Tolkien. Please enjoy reading this blog. God bless!

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” – Gandalf, The Fellowship of the Ring.

“In practice, politics is the application of moral conviction to public discourse and the process of lawmaking.” – Archbishop Charles J. Chaput

“Martin, there is no one of the heresies which have torn the bosom of the church which has not derived its origin from various interpretations of scripture. The Bible itself is the arsenal hence each innovator has drawn his deceptive arguments.” Johann Eck to Martin Luther at the Diet of Worms.

“The devil is always discovering something novel against the truth.” – Pope St. Leo the Great
