If extra-terrestials were discovered they would bear ‘Adam’s sin’

MILLIONS of earthlings – including US President Joe Biden and former astronaut Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, 91 – expressed jubilation over the incredible landing on Mars of NASA’s Perserverance rover last Thursday.

But crackpot creationist Ken Ham, inset above, wasn’t among them.

Why? Because Ham, the “brains” behind Kentucky’s ridiculous Ark Encounter,  believes there’s no point in spending money on finding extra-terrestrial life for two reasons: first, the search is a deliberate rebuking of God, and second because aliens are already damned to hell.

He first voiced his opposition to space exploration back in 2014, explaining that all life in the universe bore “Adam’s sin.”

He wrote in blog post:

I’m shocked at the countless hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent over the years in the desperate and fruitless search for extraterrestrial life.

Of course, secularists are desperate to find life in outer space, as they believe that would provide evidence that life can evolve in different locations and given the supposed right conditions!

After the Mars landing, Ham tweeted:

This is an example of evolutionary beliefs driving research. NASA is spending three billion dollars, primarily to see if there was once life on Mars.

What an impact there might be if that three billion dollars was spent to show people life on earth could never have evolved by natural processes and that the very first verse of the Bible is confirmed by science: ‘In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).

Spending three billion dollars to proclaim God’s Word and the gospel has eternal value as every human soul will live forever in heaven or hell.

In his 2014 post, Ham said:

The Earth was created for human life. And the sun and moon were created for signs and our seasons – and to declare the glory of God.

And I do believe there can’t be other intelligent beings in outer space because of the meaning of the gospel. You see, the Bible makes it clear that Adam’s sin affected the whole universe. This means that any aliens would also be affected by Adam’s sin, but because they are not Adam’s descendants, they can’t have salvation.

Ham was incensed by headlines such as “Creationist Ken Ham Says Aliens Will Go To Hell So Let’s Stop Looking For Them” and claimed his words has been twisted by the media.

He tried to set things right by saying:

Jesus did not become the ‘GodKlingon’ or the ‘GodMartian! Only descendants of Adam can be saved. God’s Son remains the ‘Godman’ as our Savior. In fact, the Bible makes it clear that we see the Father through the Son (and we see the Son through His Word). To suggest that aliens could respond to the gospel is just totally wrong.

So, aliens are sinful and destined for hell, along with billions of humans who take the Gospel with a pillar of salt.

Commenting on Ham’s latest drivel, Friendly Atheist Hermant Mehta wrote:

So… we’re supposed to take the $3 billion cost for the rover, which will hopefully open the door to a better understanding of our universe and the biggest questions we’ll ever grapple with, and use it to …  convince people evolution is a hoax?

Ham, whose Ark Encounter has a price tag of $100 million, should know better than anyone that throwing money at fiction to convince people it’s fact isn’t a good use of money.

Given that NASA’s budget is less than half of 1% of all government spending, and that space exploration — unlike Creationism — actually benefits the economy, Ham has no clue what he’s talking about.
