About Nicholas Gulda

Nicholas Gulda is a high school Spanish and History teacher in the Archdiocese of Detroit and a Catholic convert. He holds an M.A. in History from Oakland University, where his thesis examined crusader motivations in the campaigns of James I of Aragon. The Crossroads explores the intersection of history and theology, with particular focus on the crusades, papal authority, Marian doctrine, the biblical canon, and Islamic-Christian encounter. His writing brings the scholarship of the medieval and early Church into conversation with contemporary questions of faith and authority.
