About

About this site:

The purpose of this blog is to act as a source of encouragement and inspiration for Catholic working mothers who are struggling to balance the duties of their vocations as mothers with the responsibilities of being wage earners, whether outside of the home or from the home.

About me:

My name is JoAnna Wahlund, and I’ve been a Catholic working mother since 2005. I’m a convert to the faith, as is my husband; we jointly converted from the ELCA in 2003 (you can read my conversion story here). We’ve been married since September 2001, and we have six children here on earth plus four saints in heaven. I’ve worked full-time during all of my pregnancies, and returned to work within 6-8 weeks of each birth, so I am intimately familiar with the joys and challenges of this hectic lifestyle.
