LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

In grade school we learned about the systems of the body: pulmonary, digestive, muscular, skeletal, endocrine, respiratory, etc. Each has its own unique parts and tasks. These systems of our bodies work together to keep us alive and ideally functioning as best we can. In my upcoming book, Anatomy of a Witch: A Map to the Magical Body – I introduce and lead you through 5 symbolic systems that I consider to be the anatomy of a Witch. They correspond to our biological systems, but also go far beyond that metaphysically as well as in practice.

The Witch Heart is the part of the Witch’s Anatomy that sets the rhythm and pattern of our practice. It provides inner vision, connects us more deeply to ritual and keeps us in motion. Hence I thought it would be the perfect title for my new series of mini-videos that I have been cross-posting to both Youtube and Instagram. Generally 1.5-2 minutes in length, I introduce you to something I find relative to refining your own Witchcraft practice or advice along those lines that hopefully gets you thinking and moving.

Here’s the first one, starting with some inspiration:

Here’s one that has some advice about your altar:

This episode is more magically inclined – how to shift your perspective on working with the Moon so that it’s more effective.

Some of them help you to focus on your body and learn physical techniques that can enhance your practice, like this one for directing your breath:

And there’s more WitchHeart where that came from! You can find them all collected into a playlist on my Youtube channel here.

I don’t have a set schedule for these. Rather I film them when I feel inspired, so follow me on Instagram or subscribe to my YouTube channel to get notified when the next one is up. If you have a specific area or question you’d like for me to address, leave it in the comments. 🙂

The Witchual Workout will be returning shortly, as well as more video content as well, so stay tuned!
