This column by Laurika Nxumalo is a place of teaching, reflection, and prayer – this is what happened in the gardens we read about in the Bible.

Laurika Nxumalo resides in the Archdiocese of Pretoria, South Africa. She’s a lay minister (Word Proclaimer), she’s a pastoral secretary, and she’s her diocese’s laity representative at the Bishops Conference in Southern Africa. Laurika holds a certificate in Biblical Studies from the Lourdes Educational Centre in South Africa. She’s currently studying Theology at the same institution. Laurika is also studying towards a degree in Communication Sciences. Her aspiration is to one day teach at the seminary.
