Michael Cohen Steps Down From RNC Role, Offers Rare Criticism of Trump on His Way out the Door
Last updated on: June 21, 2018 at 8:40 am By Susan Wright
Wow. It may seem like a small thing, actually, but it could very well be the first clear signal that Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney and “fixer” is done being a fall guy for his former boss. Recent comments from friends of Michael Cohen suggest that he is ready to tell what he knows about Donald Trump and his business practices, as well as any campaign shenanigans that may have gone on, requiring his intervention. Specifically, payments or arrangements with... Read more

President Trump’s Twitter Attack on South Carolina Congressman Challenged by His Colleagues
Last updated on: June 20, 2018 at 6:41 pm By Susan Wright
Our president is a petty, vindictive, garbage human being, with the kind of self-control issues usually reserved for hyperactive nine year olds. Last week, President Trump went after one of the most reliably conservative members of Congress, South Carolina Representative Mark Sanford. The congressman had a solid “A” rating of 93 percent with Conservative Review’s Liberty Score rating system – giving him an even more conservative rating than Texas Senator Ted Cruz. Sanford has also voted with Trump’s agenda over... Read more

Actor Peter Fonda May Have Bought Himself a LOT of Trouble (GOOD)
Last updated on: June 20, 2018 at 5:39 pm By Susan Wright
There’s no excuse for this level of hyperbole, especially if your goal is to paint yourself as the “good guy” in any given debate. We already know there’s a severe level of twisted hackery in Hollywood. Something about the very air about the place is corrupted. Veteran actor, Peter Fonda, went on an insane rant over the nightmare on our southern border, and tweeted out his emotional break for the world to see. The Easy Rider actor sent his tweet seemingly out... Read more

Who Advised Trump to Stop Joint Military Exercises With South Korea (SURPRISE)?
Last updated on: June 20, 2018 at 2:29 pm By Susan Wright
This should come as no shock to anyone who has been paying attention for the last couple of years, actually. I’ll admit this, upfront, when this story quietly seeped out last week, I missed it. Why it didn’t make more of a splash than it did is beyond me. Perhaps it was buried by all the noise surrounding the child detainment at the border, and that’s understandable, but we shouldn’t forget that there are multiple issues going on with this... President Trump May Sign an Executive Order Regarding the Border Crisis
Last updated on: June 20, 2018 at 12:23 pm By Susan Wright
It seems like President Trump is feeling the heat rising off of the border situation, and in particular, the “zero tolerance” policy that has resulted in young children being separated from their parents. The optics are as horrible as they can get and House and Senate Republicans have apparently banded together to work through some sort of human solution that will provide a temporary fix. Trump, who has previously been immovable on the subject, even expressing the need to keep... Read more

Parkland Activist Sees His Mojo Slip, as Second Attack on Fox News Host Falls Flat
Last updated on: June 20, 2018 at 9:08 am By Susan Wright
With so much going on in the nation, it’s hard to know where to look. It seems as soon as one thing catches our attention, something worse is raised to draw our concern. We’re apparently not a nation of multitaskers. The current, searing trouble would be the families being separated at the southern border. I’ve given my opinion on this, several times. I think the borders need to be made secure. If someone is jumping the line, not following proper... Read more

“Commie Cadet” Given Other-Than-Honorable Discharge, Out of Army
Last updated on: June 20, 2018 at 12:16 am By Susan Wright
This is the feel good story of the week. In 2017 there was a media stir over a West Point graduate, Spenser Rapone, who posted a series of photos to social media that earned him the nickname, “commie cadet.” News today is that Rapone, a second lieutenant, is out of the Army with a other-than-honorable discharge. Apparently, the little commie had been previously reprimanded for “conduct unbecoming an officer.” The final straw was an investigation that revealed he’d been trying... Read more

Michael Cohen’s Friends on Former Trump Fixer: “He’s Not Averse to Talking, in the Right Situation”
Last updated on: June 19, 2018 at 8:30 pm By Susan Wright
Well, this sounds intense. Friends of Donald Trump’s “fixer” and longtime personal attorney, Michael Cohen, say their friend is giving them the heads up that he’s willing to roll over on his former client. Who can blame him? Trump treated him like garbage for the extent of their association, according to others in the know about that relationship. Maybe Cohen is sick of being a patsy. Of course, this is assuming there’s anything to tell that investigators care to hear... Read more

Multiple Lawmakers Offer Legislation to Fix the Outrage Happening on the Southern Border
Last updated on: June 19, 2018 at 5:35 pm By Susan Wright
Here’s a shocker – and evidence that House Republicans are not completely tone deaf over just how bad the message is they’re sending with the “zero tolerance” policy that is separating families at the border. Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC), one of President Trump’s loyalists in Congress, has seen the value of cutting bait quick and working towards a change in the policy, in spite of Trump’s insistence that the policy stay as-is, in order to serve as a... Trump Spends the Day Doubling Down on Things That Will Ultimately Hurt the Republican Party
Last updated on: June 19, 2018 at 2:33 pm By Susan Wright
If you thought there would be some point where logic and cooler heads prevailed, in regards to the immigrant situation at our southern border, you should maybe blunt those expectations, as long as we’re saddled with a President Trump. Speaking at an event to honor the 75th anniversary of the National Federation of Independent Businesses, the president gave his usual rambling, grating defense of the indefensible, along with a few extra bits of crazy, tossed in for good measure. First,... Read more
