We fell in love.
I want everyone to think of those words, every time you hear President Donald Trump demean or insult another American citizen, whether Republican or Democrat.
Think of those words whenever the Manhattan con artist attacks our nation’s intelligence or law enforcement community.
Most definitely think of those words when you hear of petty, cowardly moves, such as having the Navy keep the USS John McCain warship out of the sight of the president during his trip to Japan, to avoid upsetting him.
Keep in mind that those words – We fell in love – are the words Donald Trump reserves for the vicious tyrant, Kim Jong Un, leader of North Korea.
In Kim’s North Korea, voices of dissent are met with imprisonment, hard labor, or execution.
North Korea is now, and has been the number one nation in the world, regarding Christian persecution for many years.
I’ve pointed this out many times, and I’ll continue to point it out.
Simply possessing a Bible verse in North Korea could result in having your entire family thrown into one of the nation’s treacherous labor camps.
Or worse.
Remember all of those things, while I tell you this.
The two leaders have met for several summits, with the last one taking place in Vietnam.
President Trump [rightly] walked away from the table when no meaningful deal could be made.
Still, he insists that he and Kim have a strong relationship and that they’ll meet for a third summit, in the near future.
I can only imagine how stressed Kim’s Cabinet must be at the prospect.
A news report on Thursday revealed that back in March, when talks fell through, the crazed Kim was so furious that he had several of his top officials executed.
Bloomberg News reported Thursday citing a South Korean newspaper that Kim Hyok Chol, North Korea’s special envoy to the U.S., was executed in March along with four other North Korean foreign ministry officials involved in the Hanoi, Vietnam, summit.
A fifth official, Kim Jong Un’s top deputy, Kim Yong Chol, has reportedly been sentenced to hard labor, according to the newspaper.
This is the man Donald Trump loves, and falls over himself to praise.
What’s more, the executions were carried out after these officials were accused of spying for the United States, according to the sources that spoke with the Chosun Ilbo newspaper .
“Kim Hyok Chol was investigated and executed at Mirim Airport with four foreign ministry officials in March,” the source said.
A state-run newspaper sounded positively Fox Newsian, as it called out those who would show insufficient loyalty to dear leader, accusing them of only pretending to be loyal to Kim, while secretly plotting against him and the North Korean way of life.
“Acting like one is revering the Leader in front (of others) but dreaming of something else when one turns around, is an anti-Party, anti-revolutionary act that has thrown away the moral fidelity toward the Leader, and such people will not avoid the stern judgment of the revolution,” read an article in Rodong Sinmun, according to Reuters.
“There are traitors and turncoats who only memorize words of loyalty toward the Leader and even change according to the trend of the time,” the newspaper’s commentary continued.
Chilling.
And there is something so very familiar about this. It reminds me of some political movement rotting away the core of our nation.
Funny the things that Donald Trump finds to love and the things he rejects and openly reviles.
