The Breakfast Quest has Begun! 2012-01-31T05:03:34-08:00 Greg Richardson

Last weekend I began a quest to find the best breakfast in Southern California.

Breakfast is recognized as the most important meal of the day. Every meal reflects our deeper values and attitudes toward the world around us. I am looking for breakfast consistent with my true self; healthy and balanced, engaging and entertaining, reflective and good tasting.

Each meal is more than just the food we share. Each time we sit together is an opportunity to share ourselves with each other. We talk and listen, and our sharing seasons our time together.

We began the quest at Twisted Sage Cafe in San Dimas, where the bacon waffles are required consumption. Twisted Sage is relatively new on the scene; next month my quest goes to Shakers in South Pasadena. You can find more information about the months ahead on the Events page.

A quest like this one is a significant undertaking. I would appreciate your help, in a couple of ways. Please share the most important meal of the day with me once each month as the quest continues. Please also give me your answers to a few questions:

What would be your perfect breakfast?

What is the best breakfast you have ever eaten?

What is the most challenging breakfast you remember?

What is the most unique breakfast experience you have had in Southern California?

Who is the most interesting person with whom you have ever had breakfast?

Where is your favorite place in Southern California to have breakfast?

If you could have breakfast anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Your answers shape the direction of my quest. I look forward to sharing breakfast with you soon.
