When I tweeted out my support for Mitt Romney, the Internet exploded. I was asked so many outrageous questions. How could I support someone who is so unconcerned for the poor? Someone so out of touch? Someone so rich?

Well…

What about the most recent report from the Daily Mail?:

Inside the Obama’s $12m summer vacation spot: Seven bedrooms, a tennis court, an infinity pool and a manicurist on call

The president and his family have spent almost every single summer on the Massachusetts island since he was elected into the White House in 2008

The Boston Herald reports that Mr Obama will be spending August 8-23 at the same $12 million Chilmark cottage where his family stayed last year

A manicurist has been booked for three days a week for their stay, according to the newspaper

So let me get this straight. If it’s a wealthy white man, it’s okay to disregard facts and automatically cast him as a greedy, out-of-touch, rich scrooge. But if it’s America’s first black President, suddenly having wealth and living extravagantly is celebrated and portrayed as in vogue?!?

I don’t get it. You can’t have it both ways. But I shouldn’t be shocked. The progressive left isn’t exactly known for being fair or logical.
