Transparency
Last updated on: March 12, 2012 at 1:00 am By Ragan Sutterfield
It was noted of many saints that their faces looked childlike. This is because they didn’t have need of a mask–what was inside didn’t need hiding from the outside world. Try to live one day without masks, let your face be a transparent window into what is inside of you. Pray that God will illumine your heart so that it is God’s light that shines through the clear pane of your face. Read more

Prayer Bursts
Last updated on: March 5, 2012 at 1:00 am By Ragan Sutterfield
Throughout your day, create prayer bursts–quick prayers in response to those around you. Pray for the person that you see passing on the street, the driver in the car next to you at a stop light, pray for the event you see or hear about on the news. Let small flashes of prayer be bursts of light in your life throughout the day. Read more

Prepare for Confession
Last updated on: March 3, 2012 at 1:00 am By Ragan Sutterfield
Often we are unable to confess because we haven’t spent enough time thinking about what sin is and how we commit it. Reflect on what sin is and then create a list of sins common in your life. When you go to confess your sins to a priest or fellow Christian, use this list to help you prepare. _____________________________________ “Self-Examination Before Confession” by Saint Nicolas Varzhansky Read more
