So many of you have been kind enough to ask how Catherine is doing as she nears the end of her pregnancy so I thought I’d give you a quick update.

Catherine is feeling pretty darn good with all things considered. I think the biggest challenge for her right now is just carrying around the weight of our very big baby. We had a doctors appointment Tuesday and we were told our baby is already over seven pounds. If you go by the rule that baby’s gain .5-1lb. a week in the last month, that will make for one fat baby if it makes it to the due date of July 5th. With that said, the doctor is prepping us for a possible early delivery given the size of this butterball. Also, it’s important to note that Catherine blames me for all of this since I was a 9.5 lb. baby.

So we’re pretty much on standby these days. We’ve got most of the baby’s room done, we have clothes and blankets ready, and a carseat ready to go. Thank you to everyone who has sent us encouraging messages and tweets lately. It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.
