Four Burning Questions about The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Me – Answered! 2014-07-25T18:21:56-04:00 Sean Lowe

Wherever I go, people always have a bunch of questions for me. Like do you eat on the dates, is the show scripted, how hard was DWTS, when did you know Catherine was the one, etc. So I thought I’d start a regular post answering some of these questions you guys are asking. Here we go…

Q: What do you do when you are not filming?

A: So when you’re 1 of 25 like I was on The Bachelorette, you have a bunch of downtime. When one guy is on a date, the others are left at the mansion. Personally, I loved this time. I made friends with all of the guys and our days were spent grilling steaks (the show would get us all the groceries we wanted), hanging out by the pool and throwing the football. It was like a frat house in the summer minus the boat shoes and popped collars. As the bachelor, you really don’t have any down time and it’s freakin’ exhausting.

Q: Why do you make fun of the guys on The Bachelorette via Twitter?

A: Because it’s funny. And to expound upon that, it’s a lot of fun too. Yes, I know I was once one of those guys and believe me, I made fun of myself too.

Q: What’s your favorite Bible verse?

A: James 4:14- “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.” This verse has always stuck with me because I tend to get caught up in the trivial matters of life. When I put my life into context and compare it to eternity, my priorities always seem to shift. Why should I live a self-centered life when my time on Earth is like the fog?

Q: Is your dad really as nice as he seems?

A: Probably more so. My dad always seems to find a way to steal the show with his big heart and kind words and I promise he’s the same person in everyday life.

Alright, hope you feel like you know me better now. Leave your questions in the comments and I’ll try to answer them all next time.
