With all the buzz about the Scientology Personality Test that went viral on TikTok, here is some information on exactly what the test is all about.

This is a self-report test. That means it is based on your own report about you. In other words, it is based on your own take on your attitudes, personal interests and values.

Scientology Personality Test measures how people feel about themselves

The Scientology website describes the test. It states there are 200 questions that measure 10 traits common to all beings.

You can see how you feel about yourself now. That can help you pinpoint what to concentrate on. Once you spot what you want to change, someone will help you work out the best way to do so.

The test is also used to measure change

The Scientology website states: “The OCA [Oxford Capacity Analysis] is also a measure of how people feel about themselves before, during and after auditing.”

In other words, you can gauge your own progress.

The words auditing and auditor come from a Latin term:

“Auditor is defined as ‘one who listens,’ from the Latin audire, meaning ‘hear or listen.’ An auditor is a minister or minister-in-training of the Church of Scientology.”

It also states: “Through auditing one is able to look at one’s own existence and improve one’s ability to confront what one is and where one is.”

It emphasizes that auditing is “a religious practice.”

What it is not is also explained: “There is no use of hypnosis, trance techniques or drugs during auditing. The person being audited is completely aware of everything that happens. Auditing is precise, thoroughly codified and has exact procedures.”

Scientology Success Stories

There are many successful applications of Scientology on the Scientology Website and on television shows on the Scientology Network. The I Am a Scientologist series has many of them.

Here is one example:

A young mother’s used Scientology to overcome unwanted emotions

“I had a baby,” says Jennifer. “And it’s supposed to be this most incredible time. But for no reason, I’m crying and sad and having all of these emotions and things. So, I did Dianetics [one type of auditing] and it handled it. It made me so that I could enjoy my baby and enjoy my life. It was really incredible.”
