A personal success of a Scientologist worth sharing, posted on the Scientologists Facebook page:

What a magnificent realization I’ve had this morning. Stay with me here, this may be a little difficult to follow but worth reading – I promise.

Growing up I was very “spoiled” some would say with gifts and toys. This continued and became greater as time continued on, as the items became larger and more expensive. By the time I was 20, I had a few very nice cars purchased for me, and while I know the intention was to give me the best anyone could ask for, and I am forever grateful for the incredible gifts, it had another effect to.

It caused me to be completely out of exchange with my family as I could never repay them with money or effort of my own for what was given to me. It was simply not within my means to do so as much as I’d have wished it possible if I was aware of the mechanism at work.

This later grew into the feeling that the world continued to “owe me things”, because I could never repay my debts, so I am unable to produce enough to buy what I need, never mind the things I also want and so I began a cycle of taking things that didn’t belong to me. That cycle ended with a day I’ll never forget, but the though process remained. I had become a slave and able to be controlled by those people and things that I owed so much to.

The cycle continued and got worse because I then opened tens of thousands of dollars in loans and credit cards, some co-signed by others, with no actual ability to repay the debts. It was simply a continuation of the cycle of not being able to produce and so I need to get more (however necessary) to make up for what I was missing which was just the ability to feel worth something by knowing my debts were paid, and I could be my own person.

I am happy to say I am well on the way (and have been for quite a while) to being debt free, and repaying all of my debts so that I can have the freedom to be my own person, make my own decisions, and flourish & prosper.

Thank you to LRH and Scientology for allowing me to understand the mechanism at work here and what I can do about it. I feel that I am a good person, and I can be in good standing with others. I am an ethical being and can continue to take the correct steps to fix this situation and get into a better condition.
