1) Suicide, Depression, Anxiety and Other Mental Health Challenges are Real

There is no such thing as “A Muslim will never feel depressed if their faith is strong.” The strongest figures of our history and in the Quran itself felt moments of weakness, sadness, sorrow and pain. There are so many Muslims suffering in silence. You can read some of the issues and challenges our youth are going through by simply visiting www.stonestobridges.org and reading the anonymous entries on the website. Our youth are going through depression, anxiety, pornography addiction, molestation, rape, and other trauma that simply are not being addressed in our community.
