Jared Woods Born in South Africa, Jared is currently a world traveler and has no permanent home base. Jared is in search of discovering the fundamental truths that every religion, philosophy, and scientific discovery can agree upon. During his chase, he uncovered pantheistic ideals and quantum mysticism theories that resolved many of the world’s theological conflicts, which he amalgamated into a new spiritual perspective/self-improvement program named Janthopoyism.

The Janthopoyism Bible is Jared’s sixth publication. Other topics he enjoys writing about are music, human relationships, and fictional worlds. As a former scriptwriter for the YouTube channel Pencilmation, billions of people have viewed his work, with scripts surpassing 100 million hits. Further creative projects include drawing cartoons, composing music, and producing films.

Jared is currently traveling the globe to visit as many sacred spaces as possible. Out of all his achievements, he considers his absolute adoration for life as the one he is most proud of.

Jared said this about writing for Patheos, “As a comparative religion fanatic, I struggle to find my place within most faith-orientated websites as they are too denomination-specific. Patheos is different, as it allows writers the freedom to cover whichever religions resonate with them. Theology can be a touchy subject, but Patheos proves that different beliefs share common attributes and can coexist under the same umbrella. It gives me hope that a similar acceptance policy is possible in real-life society.” Jared offers up this advice, “Write about what you love, and the passion will shine through. Whenever I attempt a piece solely because I think people will click on it, it doesn’t perform as well, for it lacks the spirit behind it. Furthermore, aim to use the platform to its full potential. It’s a brand that prides itself on welcoming every perspective, so go wild and explore the boundaries of your spirituality, sharing your results with others. I find that as long as I am fair and tolerant, my thoughts are accepted and valued.”
