‘No Limbs, No Limits’ Traces Nick Vujicic’s Faith Journey 2026-08-13T23:50:42-04:00 DeWayne Hamby

“No Limbs, No Limits,” a new documentary tracing the life and faith of evangelist Nick Vujicic, releasing Sept. 25 through Fathom Entertainment, aims to expand a testimony that began in private home movies.

The film, produced by Reserve Entertainment and Cipher Studios, draws on decades of footage captured by Vujicic’s family and the testimony he has shared around the world. The film, executives say, is intended not as a spectacle but as a pastoral invitation: to see “there is hope” even when life’s circumstances tempt despair.

Vujicic’s life began amid confusion and fear, according to the film’s synopsis, but a simple parental choice brought the first pivot toward faith and resilience. That thread runs through the documentary and through Vujicic’s reflections on the project.

“This is ours, and it’s really his story,” Vujicic said, framing his narrative as first and foremost a testament to God’s work through human imperfection. “As a testimony of my history, it’s his story in letting everyone know that there is hope.”

The documentary has been in development since 2021, Vujicic said, a collaboration that brought together investor partners and creative teams committed to a conventional theatrical release rather than a single-night event. He described the film’s distribution plan as part of a strategic effort to reach churches, schools and small groups.

“We’re hoping that a lot of churches and schools and small groups come together and engage and invite, especially people who maybe have been disappointed by Christians or wondering where is God’s goodness in pain.”

Church leaders and pastors will likely see the film as a resource for conversation. Vujicic positioned the documentary as a bridge to those wrestling with doubt.

“You don’t until you just take one step at a time, one day at a time, and leaning upon Him in every single context of that,” he said, urging incremental faithfulness rather than formulaic answers.

The film also highlights creative collaborations that have surprised Vujicic and expanded his platform. He cited partnerships with filmmakers and artists such as Dallas Jenkins, Kevin Sorbo, Bethany Hamilton and members of For King and Country, whose song “Miracle” Vujicic noted as a natural fit for the film’s closing moments.

“It was almost as if it was just hand in glove,” he said.

Vujicic, who has traveled more than three million miles speaking globally, said the pivot to film and other media formats is intentional. He described a desire to steward influence and reputation toward projects with “exponential, longevity-wise legacy of impact for the world, multi-generational.” That includes planned short films, feature projects and even animation that could introduce his story to new audiences and younger viewers.

The documentary is rooted in family footage that underscores the film’s emotional core: parents choosing love in the face of fear, small moments of tenderness and the steady accrual of purpose. Vujicic said those early tapes helped shape the tone of the feature.

“We just want people to know that I haven’t got it all together,” he said. The candor and vulnerability are deliberate, he added, rejecting any “cookie cutter” formula for faith.

The producers behind the film come with a track record in faith-driven cinema: Reserve and Cipher were involved in box-office hits such as “Blue Miracle,” “SIGHT” and “After Death,” the latter noted as the highest-grossing faith documentary in history. Vujicic credited these partnerships with opening doors across the entertainment industry, from production and distribution to advertising.

Beyond the industry milestones, the film also maps personal transitions. Vujicic, now based in Texas after years in California and originally from Australia, spoke of family life and plans for adoption that shape his priorities as he steps into longer-form storytelling. He described a season in which travel will be reduced while the ministry’s media footprint grows.

“It’s the least amount of travel, but arguably the most exponential, longevity-wise legacy of impact for the world.”

“No Limbs, No Limits” is an inspirational biography, a witness to brokenness and to the possibility of purpose redefined by faith. Vujicic hopes that audiences leave with more than a good feeling, but a tangible sense that God’s work in suffering can produce enduring testimony.

“In God’s way, in God’s time, He’s got a plan for everyone,” he said. “You don’t know the magnitude of what really God has in the future, and you don’t until you just take one step at a time.”
