The Quran is Truer to G-d's Word Than The New Testament Made with ChatGPT by Rebecca Keene

The Quran is Truer to G-d’s Word Than The New Testament

Having read all the Holy Texts associated with the Abrahamic religions, I have come to the conclusion that The Quran is truer to G-d’s Word than The New Testament. Anyone who has read my work knows I’m no fan of Islam. I have spoken harshly against extreme Islamic beliefs, violence, and treatment of children. I suspect I will continue to do that, but what I do respect about Islam is that its holy book, The Quran, is truer to the Word of G-d than the New Testament and they continue to follow G-d’s law in ways that Christians do not.

Christians Claim Adoption and That Matters

With all the fighting, it is easy to forget that Islam is a Jewish cousin. Both trace their ancestry to Abraham. Reading both The Torah and The Quran forces us to remember that despite our differences we have more in common with each other than with the third Abrahamic religion, Christianity. While both Judaism and Islam are a people with direct ancestry to Abraham, Christians are not. Galatians 3:29 in the New Testament claims Christians are adopted into the family. “And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Their being adopted and not biological seems to matter more than we realize, because the child who claims to be adopted into the family has changed all the rules.

Hear O Israel The Lord Your G-d is One

Of the three holy books, The Torah, The Quran, and The New Testament, two declare that there is only one G-d and explicitly reject identifying G-d as a human being or as one who begets offspring. Those are The Torah and The Quran.

The Torah’s Shema

The Torah says in Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” It further says in Numbers 23:19, “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” The text is very clear that there is only one G-d and He is not a man.

The Quran is Truer to G-d’s Word Than The New Testament

The Quran supports this reading. Quran 4:171 says,

“O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about G-d except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of G-d and the fulfilment of His Word through Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in G-d and His messengers and do not say, ‘Three.’ Stop!—for your own good. G-d is only One G-d. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is G-d as a Trustee of Affairs.”

Quran 112:1–4 further says,

“Say, “He is G-d, the One.
G-d, the Eternal, the Self-Sufficient.
He neither begets nor is begotten.
And there is none comparable to Him.”

The Quran fully rejects the idea that Jesus could be G-d and specifically warns “Do not say three. Stop!”

The Trinity Problem

The third holy book, The Christian New Testament, goes against both these holy texts and identifies Jesus as G-d. John 10:30 has Jesus say, “I and the Father are one.” More alarmingly still, The New Testament further says in Colossians 2:9: “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” This is a clear departure from The Original Torah and word of G-d. Christians, having argued through Paul that they are grafted into the family, then changed the original theology and made an idol from a Jewish man.

Salvation Through Jesus

As if worshipping someone other than G-d wasn’t bad enough, they took the new theology to another level, arguing that salvation could only be obtained through the blood of Jesus Christ. They even condemn those who refuse to believe in him. Romans 3:25 declares:

“For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past.”

That verse doesn’t only argue that Jesus’ blood is the atonement for another’s sins, but also that sins before Jesus’s death had been left unpunished in anticipation of his sacrifice. Both The Torah and The Quran disagree on both points.

The Quran is Truer to G-d’s Word Than The New Testament

The Quran says in Quran 53:38, “No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.” Quran 29:40 assures us that people were being punished for sins before Jesus’ sacrifice. It speaks of punishing Pharaoh who lived long before Jesus.

“So, each We seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the blast [from the sky], and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned.”

These verses leave little room for interpretation. Every man is responsible for their own sins and sins have always been punished by G-d. The Torah agrees not with The New Testament, but with The Quran.

No Magic Blood

The Torah specifically tells us that one person cannot give their life for another’s. Psalms 49:7 testifies, “No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them.” The Torah also reminds us that there has always been payment required for sin. Long before Jesus’ death G-d declared in Leviticus 26:18, “If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over.” That means that once again Christian theology completely altered G-d’s word and law. Jesus was a Jewish man who taught from The Torah, but the people who worship him have chosen to ignore G-d’s Torah and follow Paul.

The Law Is Not Dead

That brings us to the final point. Christian’s have decided that many of the laws of The Torah are no longer valid since Jesus’s death. Many of these are dietary laws. Acts 10:9-16 tries to justify some of this by having Peter experience a vision in which G-d tells him to call nothing he has made unclean.

“9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” 14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” 15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” 16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.”

The problem with Peter’s vision is that the man Christians worship has already testified against Peter on this point. Jesus himself said in Matthew 5, his famous Sermon on the Mount:

“17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

The Quran is Truer to G-d’s Word Than The New Testament

As you can imagine, The Quran and The Torah agree with Yeshua on this point. The Quran says in Quran 5:68, “O People of the Book! You have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.”  Further, Quran 5:43 asks, “But why do they come to you for judgment when they ˹already˺ have the Torah containing Allah’s judgment, then they turn away after all?” Thus, The Quran assures us that there is nothing needed beyond Torah and the law of G-d. The Quran reminds us that we have nothing if we do not keep The Torah. Thus, The Quran is truer to G-d’s Word than The New Testament.

Don’t Add to or Subtract from The Law

The Torah itself is much clearer. Deuteronomy 12:32 says, “32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.” Deuteronomy 5:32 further reminds us, “32 So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left.” Do not turn to the right or the left. Keep the law. Do not add to it and do not take away from it. G-d did not stutter.

Christianity is a Dead Tree The Quran is Truer to G-d’s Word Than The New Testament

So here again, we see that only the adopted child has misunderstood and transformed the Word of our Creator. The children of Abraham remember that they are called to keep the law and do as G-d has commanded. Interestingly, Paul warned the adoptees he grafted into the family not to make themselves superior to the other branches of the family. In Romans 11:17–18 Paul writes:

“If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.”

Yet, Christians have continued to tell the true branches that we are wrong, to try and convert us, and to tell us that without their Jesus we will burn in hell. The New Testament is in direct contrast to the two books rooted in Abraham’s bloodline. They have departed from our teachings. Thus, the grafted-in branch has severed itself from the root and a tree without roots is dead.

If you’ve read this article thinking the author of this article has argued many times that Islam should cease to exist and is nonetheless arguing that the Quran is closer to the Word of G-d than the Christian New Testament, let me reassure you. You are correct, and that should tell you exactly how I feel about Christianity. If somewhere in an afterlife the Jewish Yeshua is reading this, no offence Rabbi. My love for you is beyond words. It is your so-called followers with whom I have issue.

For the purposes of this article, The Torah is used in the Jewish sense including the prophets and the writings.
