Podcast Sunday: Kathy Escobar’s FAITH SHIFT (A #1 PTCS resource!)

Podcast Sunday: Kathy Escobar’s FAITH SHIFT (A #1 PTCS resource!) 2015-12-18T13:19:44-04:00 Reba Riley

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

When I say they should sell Kathy Escobar’s Faith Shift with PTCS as a boxed set, I’m not even kidding.

It is the first resource I send people to when they ask me, “What now?”

So I am delighted that on this week’s #PodcastSunday Mark catches up with Kathy to talk about spiritual injuries and the transition and expansion of beliefs that often follow. Kathy provides a fresh, empathetic voice about interacting with loved ones who believe differently, and as she discusses who are leaving the church in mass exodus, Kathy shares some challenging thoughts about listening to these people as opposed to trying to lure them back into the church.

She opens up about pieces of her own journey and the struggles that come with questioning traditions we are taught not to question. For anyone who has felt alone and abandoned in their faith journey this episode will encourage and inspire you to stay curious.
