quran day 22

This chapter gives a general blueprint of the messengers’ role. It begins with Quran itself. Ya seen indicates a constancy and a seeking. (36/1). It then declares that the Quran is decisive (36/2). In other words, through ya seen, we may attain that decisiveness. When this happens, the Reader is one of those who carry the message and is on the straight and establishing path (36/3-4). This will warn those whose parents were not warned before. The sayings of the messenger proved true against them so they did not believe. Their faculties became so restricted that they were unable to believe.

36/11 then speaks of those who are able to be warned, they focus on ar-rahmaan in the state of unseen.36/12 speaks of giving life to the deah.

36/13 onwards goes on to speak about the messengers and the delivery of the message. The people rejected them and were destroyed.36/33 resonates with Vs 12 above speaking of giving life for our consumption. The rest of the passage goes into the wonders of nature, perhaps linking the message of the decisive Quran, the role of the messengers and nature.

36/58-59 is a unique statement in Quran (peace, a saying from the Lord who evolutionises). The criminals stand apart from this.

36/82-83 starts with a strong metaphysical statement about the will of God and the infusion of being (82). It then links this idea with the manifesting of God in whose hand is dominion and to whom returns everything.
