Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
Last month we launched our new round robin series: Pagan Families Flash Points. We don’t want to host a debate exactly, because the last thing we want to do is fan the flames of any mommy wars, but we are hoping to generate some useful friction around our different parenting philosophies and practices, to shed light on topics that are very dear to us and that we do get fired up about.
Each month we’ll share a topic that we’d love to see lively discussion on. Our regular contributors will write on the topic that month and we invite you to write on your own blog and share the link with us so we can publish your link and enter into dialogue with you. If you don’t have a blog and want to participate we can also publish guest posts on the topic.
Flash Point topic for May:
Let’s Talk About Sex. An enthusiastic embrace of sexuality is often seen as a defining characteristic of Paganism. How does this play out when children are involved? Do you change or remove sexual elements of ritual? How do you talk about sex with your kids? Do you give them sexual health information or tell them about the sacredness of sex? Do your kids connect sexuality with reproduction? Let’s talk about sex!
We’ll list all the posts on this topic here:
