It’s so easy to forget how new this Internet thing is. So many of us have come rely on it to learn, to connect, to shop, and to share, but there’s still a lot to work out about how to use it well.

Last week, Christine Kraemer (the new managing editor of the Pagan portal at Patheos) pointed out that on Wikipedia, one important online source of information about Paganism, there’s recently been a struggle over which information should be published  Christine suggests some ways to keep information about Paganism accurate and available on Wikipedia.

Also last week I had the privilege of publishing articles on two other sites. At About.com‘s pregnancy and birth page you can read my essays about eating placenta postpartum and how to plan a mother blessing. I also shared a guest post at Talk Birth about consciously taking a sabbath from all this online flow of information.

Finally, I’ve been slowly working away at a major change to Pagan Families that will enable us to bring our online conversation about Paganism and childbearing to many more Pagans, as well as to dialogue partners from other religions. I’m just bursting to share this one… Any day now!
