‎Let yourself love and be loved by your Ancestors, your Mighty Dead, your Beloved Dead, the Newborns and all other beings in your life, for that is how all souls can indeed be blessed. -Elinor Predota

Halloween, Samhain, and Dia de Los Muertos are all marked on my calendar for this week.  And all around the Internet, Witches and Pagans are making ready to celebrate this time when the veil grows thin. Many of us honor our ancestors and beloved dead now.  In addition to death there’s also another way through the veil: birth. Some folks choose to recognize the descendants whenever they recognize the ancestors.

In San Francisco, at The Spiral Dance ritual, they read out loud the rolls of beloved dead and beloved babies from the past year. Do you incorporate childbirth and the descendants into your celebrations at this time of year?
