The 2020 presidential election results remain up in the air, with no solid winner. Voters wait for a second day on the final vote counts in some states.

The uncertainty has generated a lot of anxiety among citizens across the country, including Muslims, waiting to learn who will lead the nation after a year of pandemic and protests.

Attorney and Muslim Anti-racism Collaborative co-founder, Namira Islam joined Layla Abdullah-Poulos to discuss the election, American Muslim voters and ways people can cope with the apprehension stemming from waiting.

What is the job of the president? It is to maintain and expand the interests of this country, based on something laid out at the founding of this nation. – Namira Islam
