Sophia Suspended between Life and Death

Sophia Suspended between Life and Death 2012-03-11T16:01:20-04:00 David Hayward

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

Sophia suspended between life and death.

I am definitely here right now. Like Sophia, I am suspended between life and death. Between death and life. But aren’t we all?

About 6 months ago I thought I was alive. Then all hell broke loose! Looking back now I see that I was very numb. I was dead. But I was brought to life again. But not yet. Not quite. I’m still somehow suspended between death and life. Again. The endless cycle of death and resurrection. The suspense is incredible.

Somehow Sophia is able to rest in this suspense. I find it very, very difficult to do so. I know I am called to find rest here. Poise. Peace. Tranquility. Composure. Calm.

The fullness of life I long for will come. Trust that it is so.

All my art… originals and prints (including very affordable Sophia originals!), are drastically reduced PLUS 50% off! Go HERE and type “SOPHIA” in the coupon code box! This weekend only!
