It\u2019s 2024 and I\u2019m a Jewish, Israeli American wife and mother of two growing boys.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s difficult for me to verbalize the fear and frustration that I feel on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n

The constant headlines of blatant antisemitism \u2013 in universities, government buildings, on display in city streets, and blasted on social media are unbearable.<\/p>\n

The fact that there are Jewish people in America being targeted and killed for being Jewish<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I. just. can\u2019t. even.<\/p>\n

Understand how this is happening in 2024, in America.<\/p>\n

Comprehend that this hatred is alive and permeating in modern, civilized and educated cities and communities.<\/p>\n

Wonder how to protect myself and my family.<\/p>\n

Contemplate a future in a civil society where this sort of hatred of Jewish people is accepted and perpetuated.<\/p>\n

Fathom that it feels unsafe to be Jewish anywhere. Even in America. In 2024.<\/p>\n

Hope.\u00a0 It\u2019s difficult to hold on to hope when the present is so bleak.<\/p>\n
