Here’s a quick recap of last week’s major highlights from the missional conversation:

The new Mission of God Study Bible bowed on Friday, edited by Ed Stetzer and Philip Nation, with contributions from mostly conservative evangelicals such as Christopher Wright. The video (above) illustrates the creative use of QR codes that makes the book more interactive. It appears to all be one-way communication, but it’s still a nice touch.
The new Missio Alliance announced its first regional and national events.
The crippledJesus necklace was featured as an unusual missional business idea.
Kathy Escobar beat out Alan Hirsch for the title of most shared blog post here on Missional Shift last week. Kathy’s boat analogy edged out Alan’s underground church in China example. Here’s to egalitarianism!
Finally, worst analogy for the Church this week comes from Chris Drury who wrote on Facebook: “The Church is extremely divided on politics, which is silly. … I hope the church is like butt cheeks so once this crap is no longer between us we will come back together!” o_O

Today I’m also announcing a blog contest I’ll be running this week to give away a signed copy of Chris Guillebeau’s new book, The $100 Startup! Find out more and enter to win …
