Just come home. When you left home, you were so restless wondering what you would do with your life, and you couldn’t sit still. You had one thought on your mind to seek your fame and fortune. You felt something was missing, and following me was out of the question. You were afraid I was holding out on you that my plan for your life wouldn’t let you spread your wings and fly.

The thought of being at home was like being in prison. My will for your life would keep you from experiencing everything you desired. You had to explore for yourself what the mystery of life is all about. There were so many unanswered questions begging for answers. There was an itch in your soul that needed scratching, and you were looking for something to fill the hole in your heart that only I could fill.
However, you wouldn’t understand what was most important in life until you were far enough away to look back finally. It took the time and distance to recognize your most pressing need in life is to love and be loved and to be accepted. I am the one who loves you unconditionally. (You are Accepted) All the time you felt lost, I never left or forsook you. At any time if you came home, I would have run to embrace you.
You now question is it possible to return. You no longer feel like you can come home. All the pain you caused your family. So much water under the bridge because of the heartache, rejection, and hurt. Please understand the road from the pits of hell leads only one way home.
I’m calling and patiently waiting for your return. My forgiveness and love have the power to set you free. (You are my Child) The heavenly Father and Mother and I miss you, and we never want you to be alone again. Just come home. That is all we ask.
Scripture:
Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
“Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
“The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. Luke 15:11-21 NIV
