Worrying about the Future 2019-06-17T01:11:02-06:00 Paul Bane

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

Don’t waste any more time worrying about the future. The future like the present all belongs to me.  Worrying robs you of experiencing the joy and excitement of living today. My love for you is beyond what you can even imagine or think so don’t lose any sleep over what may happen to you and your loved ones.

Live each day with the confidence and assurance you can overcome with my help whatever evil the world throws at you. Do your best not to anticipate the fear of something happening that may never come.

It is vital to understand you have time for everything that needs to get done in your life. When you are anxious, there is a tendency for your thoughts to race out of control rushing faster and faster about what you need to finish and accomplish. Trust me there is no need to rush there is enough time for everything in your life. Rest assured I am present with you even when you feel lost and don’t see any way out of your troubles.

No amount of anxiety or worry will provide a moments peace. Trust me with your doubts and let me hold in my arms your reservations about the future. Abraham walked not knowing where his path would lead him, he trusted by faith that I would take care of him. I will also guide you through any desert you go through on your way into the Promised Land.

Live each day and don’t let your inner struggles and doubts zap you of your strength to walk step-by-step with me through any storms that you encounter. (Help with Discouragement and Disappointment) Take the time and meditate on my promises that no matter how difficult today is I am always present with you. Do not lose heart and know the great “I Am” Moses encountered will strengthen you moment by moment and forever. Remember worrying about the future robs you of experiencing the joy and excitement of living the life I gave you today.

Scriptures:

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34 NIV

Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Mathew 6:27 NIV
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. Hebrews 11:8 NIV
