It is very important that Jesus’ disciples know who they are and who they are not, and how to say so. (If we are sure only of who we are not, we can suffer from an inferiority complex; if we are sure of who we are, a sense of superiority lurks.) I am quick to mercy.

I am (sometimes) funny and (mostly) awkward.

I am a thinker.

I am an extrovert (though it might make me a better thinker/writer if I weren’t always hanging out with people).

I am a minister of the gospel.

I am a teacher.

I am a poet.

I am a (mostly) kind, silly, creative mother.

I am a learner.

I am a reader.

I am a TV lover (much to my chagrin).

I am a quoter of Little Women in daily life. (Limes, limes! It’s nothing but limes these days!)

I am a disorganized clutterer of Disorganized Brain. (And I mostly like it that way.)

I am a friend (who is slow to return emails and phone calls, but who loves just the same).

I am a wife who dances wild with her husband at weddings.

What about you? What are you?

Yesterday I listed what I am not.
