This just landed in my mailbox:

I’m writing to let you know about a special project my wife and I are working on titled “Catching Faith.” It’s a faith-based film featuring Bill Engvall and many other talented cast members. The story starts with a family who puts their social standing within their community above their own values, but when tragedy strikes, it forces them to rediscover their faith and find the true meaning of family.

We decided to make the movie in order to create something that was inspiring and fun for the whole family to watch, but we need your help. Editing a movie like this is expensive and requires everything from professional film editing and music scoring to sound design and color scoring.

To raise the funds, we’re currently running an IndieGoGo campaign where backers can receive rewards like: a movie ticket for the premier, their name in the film, a digital download of the film, a signed DVD, and more. But again, we need your help.

We’re currently asking bloggers like yourself to consider sharing our project with your audience. By doing so, you’ll help bring a faith-based family-friendly movie to life and help us make our dream a reality.

We can’t stress enough that there’s no way we can do this without you. Currently we’ve only raised $3,085 of our $55,000 goal, but every share, tweet, plus, and post will help us to get one step closer to our goal. Please consider sharing about our project if you’d like to help in producing an inspiring movie the whole family can watch.

In order to learn more about the project, you can visit our IndieGoGo project here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/catching-faith. You can also enter our giveaways by sharing while logged in to IndieGoGo. We recently gave away a pair of .52 carat diamond earrings valued at $1,300, and by sharing from the IndieGoGo page, you’ll automatically be entered to win some great new giveaways.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our project, and we greatly appreciate any support you might be able to provide.

Sincerely,

John K.D. Graham,

Director, Catching Faith
