You might want to sit down for this:
Six schools in Baltimore have exactly zero students who are proficient in math and English.
WBFF reports Project Baltimore led an investigation and discovered five Baltimore City high schools, along with one middle school, do not have any students who scored high enough to be deemed “proficient” in math and English on state testing.
The schools that did not have a single proficient student are Booker T. Washington Middle School, Frederick Douglass High School, Achievement Academy at Harbor City, New Era Academy, Excel Academy at Francis M. Wood High, and New Hope Academy.
According to WBFF, students are tested and scored on a scale of one through five, with a four or a five placing a student in the proficient category. At Frederick Douglass, for instance, 89 percent of students tested last year received the lowest possible score in math. Only one student received a three, which is “approaching expectations.”
I’m certain this is the fault of the long-term Republican leadership of the City of Baltimore. What…there is no Republican leadership in Baltimore? The last Republican mayor of Baltimore was in 1967 you say? But… but….but. Damn… Okay, all you Democrats just look the other way and pretend you are not abusing generations of inner city children… because you definitely are. You most certainly won’t be able to live with yourselves if you look this in the face and admit it.
Truth Revolt has more:
In other words, for 64 of those 68 years, the city has been run (arguably into the ground) by Democrats. Democrats have had plenty of opportunity to operate most of America’s largest cities, and their liberal policies simply do not work. In fact, they make urban problems worse. When will Democrats wake up and start voting for a change?
One Frederick Douglass student, Navon Warren, has a mother who is understandably not very pleased with this news. “That’s your teacher’s report card,” she said. “How is it that not one child passed? That makes no sense.”
Absolutely. At least there’s one person has common sense. Residents of Baltimore take note — it’s time to make a change. What do you have to lose?
