When Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, wrote a strip mocking climate change, the liberals went nuts.  According to Breitbart, his former fans weren’t happy:

it’s a shame to see this as I used to think he was very funny. The Way of the Weasel was an awesome book.

it could be dementia – that is a thing that happens to people

On Scott Adams, his comic strip and thought processes have pretty clearly jumped the shark

The man has become a dangerous idiot.

I guess 30-ish years of minor fame and a little bit of p-ssy took his brain for a ride.

Apparently, these fans weren’t paying attention during 2016 when the cartoonist praised the candidate Donald Trump.  He explained his feelings on Trump by saying,

Trump “paces” the public – meaning he matches them in their emotional state, and then some. He does that with his extreme responses on immigration, fighting ISIS, stop-and-frisk, etc. Once Trump has established himself as the biggest bad-ass on the topic, he is free to “lead,” which we see him do by softening his deportation stand, limiting his stop-and-frisk comment to Chicago, reversing his first answer on penalties for abortion, and so on. If you are not trained in persuasion, Trump look scary. If you understand pacing and leading, you might see him as the safest candidate who has ever gotten this close to the presidency. That’s how I see him.

How long do you think it took writer Amanda Marcotte to pen an article under the headline: “Dilbert has gone fascist.”  This article, dripping with sarcasm and hyperbole is “must read” but not for the reasons Marcotte had hoped.  First, she writes, “on some level… outing yourself as a Trump supporter is like admitting in public that your mom still pins your address inside your clothes in case you get lost.”  Second, she made fun of Adams’s understanding of Trump:

In the real world, Trump has off-the-charts unfavorability ratings, but in the world of Scott Adams, Trump is  a svengali of politics, headed for a landslide in November, due to the enormous persuasive power of racist cracks and non sequitur ramblings.

Oops!  Guess the cartoonist was more accurate than the political writer at Salon.  That’s got to sting.

The leftists are going crazy, because Dilbert creator is …wait for it…”not an insane leftist.”  Yep.  If you are not a member of the New Fascist tribe, then they have to call you a “fascist.”  If you don’t believe that a bunch of guys who can’t predict tomorrow’s weather can predict the weather in the next century…then you’re a “denier.”

Welcome to the Deplorables, Scott.  We’re glad to have you.  Dilbert has always been funny…and now the fact that it makes the liberal fascists head explode, it’s even funnier.
