It just keeps getting better for students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia who continue to be allowed to live out their constitutional rights unfettered.

On its way to being the prime example of a literal “safe space” campus, the private Christian university plans to install a shooting range, making it the first college in the U.S. to do so. This comes after Liberty President Jerry Falwell Jr. okayed a concealed-carry license course which has been extremely popular on campus since it was launched two years ago with some 900 students completing the class.

With the success of the CCL course, the National Rifle Association was brought in to develop and approve the plans for the range. From The Blaze:

A proposal was filed last week for a special permit from the Campbell County Planning Commission, and it states that Liberty wants to build a “nationally recognized, full-scale shooting, training and competition center” on campus. According to Yahoo News, the outdoor facility will include a pistol range, a rifle range, an instructional area and a three-gun competition range. The school plans to eventually add an indoor firing range.

Another gun-related restriction was also recently lifted at Liberty after dorm residents had complained they had to leave their firearms locked away inside their vehicles instead of in their rooms. Falwell granted them their wish, and now students can keep their weapons inside their dorm rooms as long as they are locked away in a safe. For residents uncomfortable with that idea, they can request a different roommate.

With changes like these, this school is living up to its name by never restricting a student’s constitutional freedoms. Plus, they are literally putting the trigger in “trigger warning” like one commenter, Semper VI, at The Blaze so eloquently noted:

Liberty University, where trigger warnings are active while the firing range is open and your safe space is campus wide.
