This story will either make you laugh out loud or lose a few brain cells, much like our illustrious federal government.
As part of the DNC e-mail hack, it has been revealed that there are some very dim bulbs in charge of keeping the government running. According to WikiLeaks, when the Democrats realized they had been hacked earlier this year, they actually e-mailed a new password to staffers and marked it as “High” priority, because that wouldn’t attract any unwanted attention.

DNC press staffer Rachel Palermo wrote:

We have been compromised! But it’s all ok.

Here is our new password: HHQTevgHQ@z&8b6

It will now change every few weeks so [sic] prevent future issues. So as it is re-set, I will forward along.

And all the world’s hackers said, “Thank you!”

Instapundit perfectly encapsulated this insanity when it noted this comes from our “intellectual and technological betters,” who brought us things like the disastrous Obamacare website rollout. Remember when HealthCare.gov launched back in 2013 and took months to actually work? That was an expensive mistake totaling hundreds of millions! To make a point about that, Republican Tennessee State Sen. Brian Kelsey gave a very special gift to then-Health and Human Services Kathleen Sibelius who was in Memphis at the time promoting the national health plan: a copy of Web Sites for Dummies. At least that only cost $25. That’s a way better deal!
