When Hillary Clinton visited China, Vietnam and Russia as secretary of state, she sent at least thirty-six emails on a non-government-issued BlackBerry, through her personal email account, synced up to a private server. Since these nations had robust spy agencies and a reason to try to get America’s confidential information, her actions put our nation at risk. As Andrea Tantaros tweeted:

But wait, Harry Reid says, Clinton wasn’t treated well by the NSA because they didn’t do what she asked:

Newly released emails show a 2009 request to issue a secure government smartphone to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was denied by the National Security Agency…

Clinton’s desire for a secure “BlackBerry-like” device, like the one provided to President Barack Obama, is recounted in a series of February 2009 exchanges between high-level officials at the State Department and NSA. Clinton was sworn in as secretary the prior month, and had become “hooked” on reading and answering emails on a BlackBerry she used during the 2008 presidential race…

“We began examining options for (Secretary Clinton) with respect to secure ‘BlackBerry-like’ communications,” wrote Donald R. Reid, the department’s assistant director for security infrastructure. “The current state of the art is not too user friendly, has no infrastructure at State, and is very expensive.”

The Clinton spin machine is already hard at work. Harry Reid said, that when they asked for a secure Blackberry, “we were politely told to shut up and color.”

In other words, instead of Clinton listening to the advice of NSA — that it is not secure for her to use her phone for checking emails, since it puts American lives at risk — she did it anyway. It’s an insult to children everywhere to compare Clinton to them. Most kids don’t even act so selfishly.

One annoying thing about this email scandal? It takes our eye off the ball when it comes to how Clinton actually operated as Secretary of State. When Islamic militants killed AmbassadorJ. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith in Benghazi in 2012, what was she doing?

Chances are she wasn’t coloring, but we know she certainly was not answering the 3 am phone call.
