Got a minute? Help save the world by praying the Fatima prayer with me.
Last updated on: May 13, 2015 at 12:57 pm By Marge Fenelon
The message of Fatima, the prayers taught to the children, and the lessons and warnings given by the Blessed Virgin Mary there were not meant only for Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia. They weren't even meant only for the people of that time. They were meant for those of us living today and for those who will live in the future as well. Read more

No, you are NOT entitled to be happy!
Last updated on: May 14, 2015 at 10:05 am By Marge Fenelon
I do not believe that we're entitled to happiness, but I do believe that we are entitled to joyfulness. The reason for this is that joy and happiness are two very different things. I often delve into this concept during speaking engagements and every time, I see their eyes light up when they grasp the notion that joy and happiness are different. Read more

I can see how they could mimic affection, dependence, and obedience. I even can see that there'd be a way for them to fake eating and drinking - maybe even pooing, but I don't know why anyone would want to go that far. But, the love and companionship offered by a living pet simply cannot be replicated by a machine. Read more

Mother’s Day Message for Moms: You’re a better mother than you think
Last updated on: May 6, 2015 at 6:26 pm By Marge Fenelon
Our love for our families and nurturing instinct further intensifies our tendency to self-criticism and so we need to counter that with a good dose of reality. Of course we don't do everything perfectly, and that's okay. We're human. It's less important that everything is done perfectly than that it's done with perfect love - for God, ourselves, and our families. If we're using our gifts - not somebody else's - to the best of our ability, then that's all God asks of us. Read more

If I wasn’t a Christian, I’d be tempted to despair
Last updated on: May 5, 2015 at 11:40 am By Marge Fenelon
Sometimes I can ease the suffering a bit, practically speaking, but generally, all I can do is offer an ear to listen, a heart to love, a shoulder to cry on, and my willingness to pray for them. It never feels like enough to me, but it's the best I can do. Read more
