A Boy's Life, National Adoption Month

A Boy’s Life, National Adoption Month

Life is Grand

It is unfortunate that so many boys and girls are either orphaned or in the foster care system. You don’t have to go to Nepal or China or South America to find a child that need a mommy and a daddy. Orphanages right here in the USA need your support. The foster Care System in America is in chaos! Children are aging out of children’s shelters at 18 with no idea of what it means to have a family.

America leads the world in many areas and we should be proud of that! However, America leads the world in Fatherlessness. We should be ashamed that the USA has the highest percentage of fatherless homes! We live in a Fatherless Nation where the norm is to grow up in a home without a dad! Did you know that in the USA, 24 million children will go to bed in a home without a dad tonight? This ought to scare you, for as the family goes… so goes the nation!

I am not trying to scare you, I want to encourage you to do something about it and to make a difference in a child’s life. There are too many children that need to be rescued and we (the church) are called to be the first ones to do the rescuing! Can you hear the children calling out to you and saying: RESCUE ME!

Adoption is Grand

There is NOTHING like it. NO ONE can prepare you for it. It is SCARY. I tell people all the time about the experience of adopting three boys. Nevertheless, I cannot imagine my life without them. Their stories are amazing and the alternative would have been devastating for them and for us.

If you know someone who was adopted, or a couple who has adopted, make sure you give them a kind word and encourage them. For those who are going through it right now, the road is hard and there are so many obstacles. Many times, it is scary, it is lonely and you just want to curl up in a corner and cry yourself to sleep. But I know that God will see you through it. Trust the Lord!  God’s perfect will for you is amazing! Before you know it, you will be celebrating the outcome and encouraging others who are in need.

November is national Adoption Month

November is National Adoption month. Plan something special for those who have adopted, make it a joyful time as you give thanks for what God has done. For those who are planning on adopting, DO IT and don’t look back! For those who are going through the legalities of the adoption, I pray for wisdom, and for strength.

James 1:27  Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

For the next 30 days, Manly Training will post a daily article, video or podcast. We bringing you the most touching adoption stories you have ever heard. Manly Training will also post articles designed to encourage those who are either going through the adoption process or thinking about adoption.

I want to ask you to share this page with friends and family. Encourage them with our 2018 National Adoption Month Tribute. And if you feel called to get involved and you don’t know how, contact me NOW, just click on this link: CONTACT ME NOW.

National Adoption Awareness Month

November is national Adoption Awareness Month and all over the US, little children are being adopted into their forever homes! National Adoption day is the Saturday before Thanksgiving so this year it will be on November 17th. Mass adoptions take place all over the US on that day and many orphans and children who have been placed in foster care due to neglect or abuse will finally have a mommy and a daddy who will be there for them.

Manly Training Ministries understands the need for men to grow into becoming the Fathers that we  were created to be and if adoption is or has been a part of your life or if you may be contemplating the possibility of adoption, The next 16 days will encourage you. Please share with your friends and family whose lives have been transformed through adoption.
