What’s Coming Up

What’s Coming Up 2012-02-16T09:12:07-04:00 Libby Anne

I have never done a series as long as the End Times series I am writing now, and I never realized what a waiting list of posts in my head it would result in. See, my usual practice has been to blog more freestyle, as ideas strike me. So I thought I would take a moment to let my readers know some of what is coming up.

My concerns about the Duggars

What the Duggars and Santorum reveal about religion and politics

Megachurches

Family integrated churches

Women and voting

Women and military service

Also, I have a question. I sometimes have people emailing me asking for advice, and I’ve several times turned these questions into posts (the ones on death and hell, for instance). Just the other day I got an email from a reader wanting advice on dealing with a friend’s (Bible-based) homophobia.

So I am wondering. Should I off a “Dear Libby” style of posts, sort of like the “Dear Richard” posts on the Friendly Atheist? I could make it a regular feature. Of course, I don’t have any training in counseling or anything, it would just be my thoughts drawing on my own experiences. So, your thoughts? Good idea, bad idea?

Finally, feel free to let me know in the comments if you have additional topics you’d like to see posts on, and look for the next installment of my End Times series sometime late this afternoon.
