PopeAlarm.com – when the smoke goes up, you’ll know what’s going down!

Genius! We California bloggers contend with a major time travel challenge when it comes to staying abreast of the big news coming out of the Vatican. That’s why I happily just signed up for a notification from PopeAlarm.com to be both texted and emailed as soon as the big news hits from the Conclave.

Yes, you do need to give them either your email address or cell phone number – in my case to be doubly careful I gave them both. Part of my confidence in doing so was related to the fact that PopeAlarm.com is a project of FOCUS – the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, an amazing apostolate! Since this is run by FOCUS — such a trusted part of the New Evangelization — I do believe I’d even sign up for a FOCUS missionary to come shake me out of the deep slumber I expect to be enjoying when the smoke goes up!

Believe me, I definitely want to be awake and ready to pray, cry, laugh and celebrate when our next Pope is elected. Now, thanks to PopeAlarm.com I’ll be ready!
