Advent? Already?! Join Me for a Free Webinar Today & Be Ready 2015-03-12T16:51:48-07:00 Lisa M. Hendey

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

Join us for a free Advent webinar today!

I know, you see this headline and you think, “Advent already?! Seriously, it’s only November 8th. Advent doesn’t even start until… wait, when does it start this year? Well, that doesn’t matter! It’s not for several weeks…”

Guess what, Advent starts on December 2 this year. Depending on how you count the days, that’s 24 days from now (I’m being generous in my counting here…)

It’s just around the corner!

O Radiant Dawn by Lisa Hendey

And this year, the Year of Faith, is the perfect time to really more actively give your family the gift of a beautiful Advent season. To help you along the way, my friends at Ave Maria Press are hosting me today for a free webinar: O Radiant Dawn: Ministering to Families (and Yourself) this Advent Season. Today (Thursday, November 8th) at 3:00 pm Eastern, you can join us from the comfort of your home or office for a quick refresher on the wonders of the season of Advent. We’ll be looking at this year’s lectionary of gospels, at the Saints of the season, and at a few ways you can celebrate in your home.

Yes, it’s motivated in part by our desire to spread the word about my new advent booklet, O Radiant Dawn: 5-Minute Prayers Around the Advent Wreath. This little resource — which costs only $1/25 — is a perfect companion for any family or individual looking to spend a few quiet moments in prayer each day during Advent. I’ll be mentioning it during the webinar, but if you’d like more information click here.

To join us today for the webinar, register at Gotomeeting. Hope to see you there — I’ll be the one wearing violet & rose!
