Pope Francis and Annulments: 2 Weeks Of Settling Dust 2015-09-22T10:59:52-04:00 Lisa Duffy

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

Now that we’ve had two weeks to begin unpacking the new changes to the annulment process I’ve reached a sort of bottom line: We just have to wait and see. Meaning, I believe the pope’s changes are an act of mercy toward divorced and civilly remarried Catholics in particular, but how you apply black and white policies to very grey circumstances remains to be seen and can only be fully realized as we go forward.

Author Rose Sweet and I recently discussed these changes via Google Hangout, and I’d like to share that conversation with you now. Would love to hear your feedback!
